DETERMINANT FACTORS OF THE DECISIONS ASSOCIATED TO RISK OF THE COLOMBIAN COFFEE GROWERS

The main idea of this paper is to identify the determinant factors decisions associated with risk Colombian small-scale coffee growers. Through a survey from selected sample growers, classified by region and size,we propensity confidence in management instruments. With data, we build two taxonomies: first one, taxonomy; second instruments taxonomy. these results, six unobservable constructs through Confirmatory Factor Analysis CFA methodology. represented: i) history successes failures resulting made past; ii) influence idiosyncratic characteristics problem on growers' perceptions risk; iii) tendency growers take or avoid risks; iv) alternatives that decision maker confronts; v) individual evaluation risks before situation evaluation; effects offered results latent were significant, which allows us conclude are measurement models defined as indicators describe grower’strough identified factors.
